Yank Sing- Togo

101 Spear St
San Francisco, CA 94105

Occasion: Saturday hunt to knock off some things from SF's BIG EAT LIST! Yes we cheated, we didn't actually have dim sum here, who could blame us. Our stomach's were full from the farmer's market. I just needed a little bit of sweet to satisfy my taste buds.

Sesame Balls
I must admit...their sesame balls are pretty good. I love the mochi skin which was nice and gooey. I've had it at restaurants where it's too thin or too hard...the texture just isn't there. Their filling was also very good. Texture was perfect as was the sweetness. I've seen some where their filling are clumpy too sweet or not sweet enough. So I've got to give this Chinese restaurant, which is catered to Americans, credit for their sesame balls! Yay to knocking another one off the list: #97 Sesame balls at Yank Sing.
