AJ's Place

Occasion: Dinner before a theatre show(that we missed). AJ's home made mexican soup.

Posole (PA-SOLE-AY)
This is a traditional Mexican dish from the pacific coast region of Jalisco. A thick soup that's usually made with pork, hominy, garlic, onion, chili peppers, cilantro, and broth. <--- I totally had to google that . Anyways. In AJ's version of Pasole we had chicken, himony, onions, avocado, cilantro and broth. We squeezed some lime juice in it and ate it with garlic bread and it was seriously DELICIOUS. I watched her as she made it and it's so easy. I need to give this a try one time. Perfect for those cold nights or when you're sick.
