Occasion: First meal we got after we got into LAX. As we were driving by we couldn't help but notice the big donut on top of the shop. We just had to pull over to get some.

Apple Fritter

My first time having this. It was sooo good. Definitely a mom and pop's kind of donut shop. I loved the chewy crunchy caramelized glazed top. There were a generous amount of apple chunks in it. It was so good.

Glazed and Buttermilk

Glazed was the best donut I've ever had. It was so fresh and didn't taste like any of those chain donut shops. It's the old fashioned kind of donut with a fluffy dough and the best glaze. Their buttermilk reminds me of an old fashion donut. I like that the dough is not as fluffy, but more dense. It was really good.

Chocolate

So freaking good. I don't usually like chocolate flavored donuts, but this is an exception. All these donuts were delicious. Everything was fresh and hit the spot. Not too sweet, just perfect.
