Dungeness Crab Salad
with avocado, apples, grapefruit and taragon dressing
I've had my eye on this salad since my last visit to ISA. I was really disappointed when it wasn't on the DAT menu last June so I wanted to give it a try this time. It was delicious. There was a generous amount of crab in the salad. The apples and grapefruit complimented the savory crab really well. Loved the crisp texture of the apple and the puply texture of the grapefruit. It was not disappointing at all.

Seared Scallops
with asparagus potato puree & truffle jus de poule
Love scallops. Love asparagus. I enjoyed this dish. Might not seem like there's a lot, but the potato puree helps fill the stomach.

Pan roasted rocky Jr. Range chicken
with fresh herbs, creamy mashed potatoes & jus de poule
Our waiter highly recommended it and it was pretty good! For fried chicken everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was very tender and the skin had a nice crispy texture. With fried chicken, it's all about the skin.

Maple leaf farm duck breast
with beets, chèvre, arugula & wild huckleberry sauce
I really enjoyed this dish, besides the beets. I thought I would like it but no. It's not how they made it, I just dont' like beets. I love how the huckleberry sauce added some sweetness to the meat. I like how the duck meat is not fatty, like the Chinese ducks they sell at Chinese places.
