Crown and Crumpet

900 North Point St, E207
San Francisco, CA 94109

Occasion: March 6th. Bday Brunch with the girls=] There were 6 of us and we ordered one tea special for three and one tea special for two and then Diana ordered soup and a pot of tea. Basically we each got a different pot of tea from a great variety of choices, the five of us got little sandwiches, scones, crumpets and desserts and Diana stuck to her soup. Portions might look small, but they were soooo filling. We were all stuffed by the end of our two hours there. Such a cutesy girl's get together kind of spot. LOVED IT SOOO MUCH!! <3>

1st Tier: Sandwiches
there was a variety of sandwiches which included: chicken pesto, smoked salmon and cream cheese, egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, roast beef and another which seemed like cheese with a grilled pepper.

2nd Tier: Scones and crumpets
Loved their buttery scones. Plain and with raisins. I've always been fond of these little sweets. Don't let the size fool you, these things are filling. First time having a crumpet. It reminded me of an english muffin. I enjoyed it with some butter and jam. Delicious.

3rd Tier: Desserts
consisted of mini fruit tarts, cupcakes, lemon bars and truffles
We were seriously so full from the 1st and 2nd tier and the tea that we barely had room for dessert. Mini fruit tarts were delish, cupcakes had a hard frosting which i was not too fond of, but it was cute and tiny. I didn't get to try the truffle nor the lemon bar. Oh well maybe next time.

Our platter of fruits, jam, butter, lemon curd and margarine.
