I believe all the ingredients are from stores and booths from the farmer's market/ ferry building. So worth the wait. Sandwich was full of flavor. The roasted pork had a crispy skin that was amazing. I've had pork skin before and I'm not usually a fan. It reminded me of chinese roasted pork, but 10 times better. The crispy skin was thinner, the meat was more tender, less dry and full of flavor. They sprinkled some sea salt on the sandwich and had caramelized onions. Loved the sourdough bread as well. Definitely a treat and great for lunch. Oh and it's also on SF BIG EAT 2009 and 2010: #12 Porchetta sandwich at RoliRoti. Woohoo another one down.
