Occasion: Dinner date with the besty after she got injected in the eye by Dr. T.
Sauce was not that bad. Felt like it was a bit spicier than at Red's but less spicy than Boiling crab. I can't handle spice and I thought it was pretty spicy. Love the sausage especially after it's been soaking in a bag full of flavor. I wished they cut it up into smaller pieces though, so there's more of it to eat. haha.
I was definitely not expecting it to be on a plate. Like most Southern seafood restaurants such as the infamous boiling crab their crabs come in a bag contained of the great sauces. I guess for my part it was good because the crab isn't soaked in the spicy sauce, as for Diana, it's not as good because it's not as spicy. Bag or plate, I love crab and this crab did my stomach good.
Now these are some real crawfish. Last time we went to RED'S CRAWFISH and ordered crawfish, they gave us what looked like baby lobsters. This we got mild as well. I still thought it was pretty spicy, but still bearable for a non spicy eater like me. Loved how there were little chunks of garlic in it. I'm sure it definitely added flavor to our seafood.
