One of my favorite things to order. Pretty delicious!

Basically nan and hummus. It's a really simple dish, but I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed dipping my flatbread in the different dips, all of which I thought were amazing.
meatballs

As seen on the SF BIG EATS 2009. They were delicious! Meatballs were flavorful and were well complemented by the grapes.

By the time this dish came out, we were so full already. We only got to half of it. We wanted to save our stomachs for the main dish and dessert!
lamb shank
barley stew, prune, saffron
Henry was brave enough to try something outside his comfort zone. He's not a lamb person and he actually didn't think it was too bad. I was afraid he'd be turned off by the gaminess of the lamb and the flavor of the saffon, but he wasn't. Yay to stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new!

Must not have been that great because it wasn't memorable!
