Tonys Pizza Napoletana

Occasion: Mid day snack after Sabrina and Mike's Wedding Ceremony. Group of 11, but 4 of us shared these two pizzas. 09.17.11

Margherita Pizza
made with dough mixed by hand using san felice flour thenproofed in napolitan wood boxes, San Marzano tomatoes D.O.P., sea salt, mozzarella fior di latte, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil
This pizza earned Tony the 2007 world pizza cup winner in Naples, Italy.  How awesome is that?  He was the first American ever to win this award.  I guess because of that, their restaurant only makes 73 of these pizza's a day. So you better get there early and place in that order for this pizza.

Fear and Loathing
pulled pork slow-cooked with tamarind, serranos,habaneros, citrus and tomato over mozzarella,topped with fresh cactus, agave nectar salsa and queso fresco
The pulled pork is what did it for us. This pizza did not meet our expectations at all.  It came out  warm, not hot and the pulled pork was kind of cold.  There was an imbalance of sweet and savory and I didn't like the heat on it. I wouldn't order this again...not my kind of pizza.
