My mom always wants to have Chinese food, so Chinese food it was. Great Eastern has pretty good Chinese food. Not only that, but it's also one of the cleaner restaurants in chinatown. I enjoyed everything we ordered but my favorite thing has to be their turtle jello dessert (below).

I always end my meal here with this. Excuse the picture because I had started cutting it up with my spoon before taking a picture of it. The jello is herby and somewhat bitter, but it is drizzled with a sweet syrup to help balance out the bitterness.
