Occasion: Back during my trip down to LA! Saturday night dinner for spicy crab stew. I've heard so much talk about this type of spicy crab stew that I was really excited to give it a try, YUM!
After we were done, the lady took everything out of the pot, oiled it up...and made fried rice with it. She added our left over soup for flavor and threw some other things in there.
As the second part of the meal in the same pot, they added rice cakes and vegetables into it. The vegetables added more flavor to the soup, and now there was a completely different meal in that pot. 
The lady cracked the crabs and took out the meat to mix it into the soup. They served the soup to us in the crab shell which was pretty unique. I loved the flavor of the soup.
