Ruth Chris'

1601 Van Ness Ave
San Francisco, CA 94109

Occasion: Double date with the bestest for DAT June 09'. The bestest claimed that this was the best meat she had in her life and that I had to try it!

Bread Pudding
Not bad, but I don't remember it being DELICIOUS, maybe because I was tipsy off of the wine by then =P
Keylime Pie
It was pretty good, it was tart and light. Not too rich, which was perfect.

Oscar Style Ribeye Steak
Mashed potatoe with asparagus over the steak. I had a piece of the meat and it wasn't too bad. The meat of the ribeye steak is just a little too fatty for my liking, but don't get me wrong it was full of flavor.

Filet Mignon
I like meat that isn't too fatty and this was the perfect entree for me. The meat was full of rich buttery flavors that seriously melted in my mouth. I ordered a medium rare and they made it just the way I like it. It was still hot when it came out; becareful touching the plate because it's hot too! If I am ever craving meat again, this is the place I'd go to again.
Dayboat Scallops
Absolutely delcious. Each scallop was big and plump. Each bite was full of flavor and very juicy! Very happy with this selection of appetizers.
Seared Ahi Tuna
I loved this appetizer we got. The portion size was perfect. Seared to my liking, it melted in my mouth. Drizzle some lemon juice and dip it in a little bit of the sauce and it made my mouth scream for more!

Mixed Green Salad
It wasn't anything too special. The vegetables used didn't particularly stand out nor did the sauce. It was just whatever.
