Red Velvet CupcakesWhile walking from Fulfilled Desserts to Sprinkes on S. Santa Monica, I walked past this little bakery and noticed the beautiful assortment of cupcakes!I had to stop and go in just to take a look! As I was in the bakery, my friend had called and asked where I was. I told her I was at CRUMBS and she said she wanted a red velvet cupcake from there because she has heard a lot about their cupcakes and has been meaning to try it. I decided to get myself one as well, to bring back up to norcal with me and compare it to the red velvet from Sprinkles.These cupcakes were not dinky at all, they were HUGE...which made it that much more appealing. And when I looked at the price i thought " wow so worth it" because at Sprinkles it costs just about the same for a smaller portion.I definitely like this place more than yummy because their cake was SOOO MOIST, just the way I like it. There was a lot of cream cheese frosting, but the taste wasn't too overwhelming. It wasn't overly sweet like Yummy's, but I still had to scrap some off.I want to break out of my red velvet addiction and hopefully next time i will be able to try something else.
