Melting Pot- San Mateo

2 N B St
San Mateo, CA 94401

Occasion: Rich's birthday dinner celebration back in May 2009. We ordered the Big Night Out Special. His first time and my third time.

Milk Chocolate Tiramisu Fondue...

Milk Chocolate blended with espresso mousse and ladyfingers

No matter how full I am i always manage to have room for dessert. I loved the strawberries dipped in the chocolate as well as the rice krispies. The brownies along with the cheesecake is good on its own because it's already very sweet on its own. I liked the marshmellows dipped in grahm crackers YUMMAY!

Fondue Fusion...
Lobster Tail
Filet Mignon Florentine
Limoncello Balsamic Sirloin
Shrimp Diablo
Sun-dried Tomato Chicken
Orange Fennel Pork Tenderloin
Porcini and Portobello Sacchetti
Fresh Vegetables
It reminded me of hot pot, but an americanized version! Some of the sauces were awesome while some were just mediocre! It wasn't that great but I'm glad the birthday boy had fun!

Quattro Formaggio Cheese Fondue...
Award winning Fontina, Grùyere, and Gran Queso cheeses blended with roasted garlic, basil and tomato pestos and fresh mozzarella Perlini.
Caprese Salad(not pictured)...
Mixed Field Greens topped with fresh mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh basil and finished with an imported balsamic glaze.
Loved it!! I love cheese especially this blend when it melted in my mouth. I've actually tried the artichoke with cheese dip last time and that was absolutely delicious!!!
