Osha Thai- Union Street

2033 Union St
(between Buchanan St & Webster St)
San Francisco, CA 94123
Occasion: Another 23rd Birthday Celebration that was celebrated the weekend after my birthday! Great people, delicious food and good company!
Seabass with Bok Choy
Fish and vegetables, you can't really go wrong! It's delicious and healthy!
Pumpkin Curry
Kabocha squash, red bell pepper, bamboo shoots, sweet basil in red curry
I first fell in love with this pumpkin curry when my pledgemom let me try some at Annie Doan's Birthday dinner at the Osha Thai (Embarcadero). I just love the pieces of pumpkin in the curry. The pieces of pumpkins were full of curry flavor and was nice and mushy when I chewed into it. I loved that its not too rich and not too spicy, as most curries are.
Brown Rice Clay Pot
Chicken cooked in an earthen clay pot, brown rice, cashew nuts, purple yams, shiitake mushroom and onions
I really liked the taste of the brown rice in this claypot dish. The yams were nice and soft and smushy. All in all, I think I just liked the blend of flavor of everything that was cooked into the rice.
