Occasion: Dessert after Dinner and cookies. Yes, I'm a fatty, after having dinner at Burma Superstar and cookies from Anthony's Cookies, we went to Mitchell's for ice cream.

One scoop of Ube and one scoop of Buko

Ube means purple yam in Tagalog and Buko means baby coconut in Tagalog. Buko was on the BIG EAT SF 2009: #96. Baby-coconut ice cream-Ube is on the BIG EAT SF 2010: #96. Ube ice cream. I had to give some of these exotic flavors a try. They have a lot of unique flavors you would not be able to find at your typical ice cream stores. Worth a try, but definitely not my number one ice cream shop in the city.
