Fried Chicken Night- Ad Hoc Style

Occasion: Thomas and Fanny invited us over for some delicious home cooked meal.  Theme of the night: Fried chicken night! Love spending saturday nights with good food and good company! 06.25.11

Baked Mac n Cheese

Broiled asparagus

Flavored with some salt and pepper. Simple and good.

Mashed potatoes

I love potatoes prepared in all shape and form, so of course I loved this dish too!  I liked how there were big chunks of potatoes in it, also the fact that there were potato skin in it.  I think that definitely adds texture to the dish.  Creamy and delicious!

Fried Chicken

Not exactly like Ad Hoc's Fried Chicken, but it was still pretty darn good. Way better than KFC chicken!  It was their second attempt in making  fried chicken and they did it.  It's definitely not easy, since you need to get the skin to the perfect crispy without undercooking or overcooking the meat inside.

Mochi Cake
Made with love by Moi.  Thanks to my big sis for the recipe!! Love love love it!
Best served after it's been out of the oven for about 30 minutes.  Gooey and chewy inside with a slghtly crispy skin!
