A16

2355 Chestnut St
San Francisco, CA 94123

Occasion: Dinner date with Michael Vo. Haha. I just have to call him by his first and last name. Done it ever since the 8th grade. Wow I've known him for over a decade already! Great catch up session! 02.13.12

Meatballs
They were just mediocre.  I didn't like it at all.  The texture, the flavor and the sauce.  It just didn't do it for me.  I've had so many good meatballs that it's hard to have anything less.
Maccaronara with ragu napoletana and house-‐made ricotta salata
Delicious. The pasta was thick and the consistency reminded me of Japanese Udon noodles.  It was tossed in a tomato based broth that was flavorful.  Portion size isn't too big, so if you're hungry, make sure each person orders at least two things.
Burrata with olive oil, sea salt and crostini
Love the taste and the texture of this burrata.  It's so soft that it seriously melts in your mouth. My favorite thing we ate that night. If you love cheese, this is a must.  I'm going to get this again the next time I come. YUM!
