Dungeness crab arancini, calabrese aioli
Delicious. It almost resembled a crab cake. The crust was deep fried to a perfect golden brown. It was filled with flavorful and generous amounts of dungeness crab meat. I loved dipping it into the aioli which complemented the crab ball very well.
Prosciutto di Parma, arugula, mozzarella
Michelle decided on the pizza, which was a good choice. Prosciutto was super flavorful which went well with the fresh herbiness of the arugula. It's not a big pizza and we each had two slices with left overs! It was good, but my personal preference is usually the Margherita pizza with mozzarella, basil and marinara sauce. Next time, that's what I'll be trying.
Meatball with spicy marinara
Ever since I had the meatball from Tony's Pizza, no other meatball has been comparible. I have really low tolerance for spicy food, so when they say spicy, I expect to feel a little bit of fire in my mouth. It wasn't so in this case. The meat had a rubbery texture, which I was not too fond of. I was hungry, so I devoured my meatball.
Dessert
Very decadent dessert filled with raspberry, marscapone cheese and chocolate goodness.
So glad that we shared this dessert because it was so sweet and rich. The refreshingly tart raspberries balanced out the sweetness of this dessert and made it more enjoyable. It was a good dessert to share and have as long as you weren't inhaling the whole thing by yourself.
