Occasion: Birthday Dinner!!! 03.09.11! Finally a reason to give this place a try!

It was a delightful little starter to open up our appetite.

Seared Sonoma Foie Gras with Rhubarb
It was good, but not comparable to La Folie's foie gras,which we just had a couple of weeks prior to this dinner.
Lobster Salad with Asian Pear, Mango, Avocado, Cashews and Lime Cilantro Rémoulade

Roasted Maine Lobster with Potato Purée, Chanterelle Mushrooms, Corn and Tarragon
Yay, more lobster! You can't go wrong with seafood for me!
Seared Ahi Tuna with Avocado, Nori, Enoki Mushrooms and Lemon Soy Dressing
I've seen pictures on yelp and really wanted to get this! Beautifully prepared and delicious...all of some of my favorite ingredients in one dish!
Seared Sea Scallops with Asparagus-Pea Purée, Pickled Radish, Spring Onions and Sauce Maréchal
I love scallops, just had to try it while I was here! Satisfied tastebuds!
Quail Stuffed with Foie Gras, Mushroom and Quinoa, Braised Artichokes, Peas, Prosciutto and Olive Butter
Everything about this dish just appealed to me so I wanted to try it.  The meat was tender and the quinoa was delicious; it soaked up the juices from the qual and foie gras, which gave it the flavorful taste.
Herb crusted loin of lamb with Moroccan lamb sausage, hummus, spiced eggplant stew and mint yogurt
Based on the menu, it looked like lamb with a modern american meditteranean twist to it.  With the hummus and the yogurt, the sausage nor the loin tasted gamey at all! 
Lemon Pepper Duck Breast with Duck Hash, Bacon Braised Endive and Brandied Cherries
Another meat dish! So much meat already. Decent, but nothing that left a lasting impression, which could be due to the fact that I'm more of a seafood person than a meat person.

Entertaining to watch, but it didn't blow my mind.

Must have took a small bite of everything. Nothing too memorable, but nice to know that it was free=]

 
Passionfruit mousse
Compliments of the restaurant because it was my birthday! Loved it.  It was just what I needed and wanted to end the night.  Sweet, tangy and light! YUMM!!
